Or maybe I took to looking at the stars,
hoping to see the twinkle I used to see in your eyes
when you looked at me, I never knew I had the
power to feel my way through broken glass.

It’s strange this thing we call love,

I thought that you had banished it away

I guess it must be that broken glass,
those jagged broken pieces, they heard you
