With an insipration from Davies

what life is this, tis full of worry
we have no time to mean i'm sorry'
nor time to sit beneath the trees
or enjoy the symphony of the breeze

what life is this we seem to want
all the things that our neighbors flaunt
we seem to know the difference though
it's just that our core is probably shallow

what life is this, we seem to need
more than we chew even though it will bleed
we have no time to sit at ease
and enjoy each others company

what life is this we have no life
it seems that to the end we will always strive
we're here today and gone the next
has someone ever sat you down and given you context

Reading it again now, I've seen the parallel w/ Bo Bennett' quote: The secret to having everything you want out of life is the realization that you really don't want most of the things you think you want. - You tell them OXy...!
